Jill has magic hands! She helped me manage the pain from cancer in my spine as well as the discomfort after chemotherapy"
I have always had the ability to sense what a client is sensing in their physical and emotional body. The body responds with health when it is heard and cared for. We are social creatures, hard wired for communicating and building relationships. When I approach a client with honor and compassion, their body senses this and responds in tune. It is the trust that a client has with their therapist that allows the body to shift from its flight or fright pattern to its slow, restorative rhythms.
I love waking up everyday excited to witness how clients can take charge of their health. Each session is a unique step toward understanding how to navigate life within our body, instead of reacting with no awareness of our health in the present moment.
Biodynamic craniosacral therapy in Mahopac is a journey of self awareness. A series of sessions can be the key to freeing yourself from patterns that no longer serve you.
BCST sessions may help families involved in recovery from addiction. While at school for BCST, I received sessions while family members were in addiction/recovery. The sessions helped me process my part of the family dynamic of addiction. I was better able to process their experiences and my own without adding fuel to the fire from my own fear.
My mom had horrible anxiety in her later years. After some sessions and embodiment meditations, her fear was replaced with a sense of calm and wonder. Through that experience, I now work with hospice clients. A family can process more when they know their passing loved one is being supported with honor and compassion.
